Clint Eastwood is from San Francisco. His mother was a factory worker and his father was a steel and migrant worker. He is of Irish, Dutch and Scottish ancestry. When in school he did competitive swimming, basketball, football and gymnastics. He was a lifeguard for the U.S Army during the Korean War. He also held other jobs prior such as a grocery clerk, paper carrier, golf caddy and a forest firefighter. Clint has been acting since 1955. He is also a director, producer, and composer. He has lived to see age 82 and hopefully he lives to see many more.
