Rosewood Massacre

'Til this day no one wants to speak of it and denies what ACTUALLY happened. The state of Florida says only 8 black people were killed but the survivors including one Caucasian says 40 to 140 blacks were killed. 8 bodies were PROBABLY all that they found since the majority was burned. Who do you believe?...A state trying to cover it's ass or the individuals who actually suffered and refused to return to that part of Florida for DECADES? This has been continuously swept under the rug and reparations for what when there are still innocent people of different ethnicity getting glass bottles thrown at them, racist acts/comments, etc? This all happened because of a LIE. The woman was cheating on her husband, was upset because her side man didn't care about her like she wanted/thought and to save herself the embarrassment she said "Niiiiggggggerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it was a niggerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". She was raped then switched up the story and said she was beaten.

The names of everyone is completely accurate and not a land nor money could hide this story and be considered as an apology. The Black people that were killed, the majority of them weren't even buried and IF they were, the graves weren't even marked out of respect. But the graves are still there today if you know where and how to locate the ones they didn't show. No one was ever arrested

The main characters in this movie is Ving Rhames, Elise Neal, Don Cheadle, Esther Rolle, Loren Dean, Jon Voight, and Michael Rooker. Most of these actors have been active since the 1980s. Esther Rolle is from Pompano Beach, Florida and was born 1920. I'm glad they chose her to be apart of this movie. She passed in 1998, a year after Rosewwod from complications if diabetes. She was only married once and had no children. In this movie she played as Aunt Sarah which was an important character/role.

Every few years something always happens. Have you ever thought of why things like this keeps happening and won't stop? Today Rosewood is now Cedar Key, Florida and I don't know if it happens today in 2012 but those who left Rosewood and decided to come back or those who knew the history of Rosewood and moved there will NOT be seen at night time. They go inside before dark.

Innocent men were lynched then burned, women were beaten to death or raped or raped AFTER they were beaten to DEATH and children were raped as well and killed. Today there's only maybe 3 visible small ranch houses and that's it, everything else is blocked off and what isn't blocked off is just burned down to the core and non-existent anymore. Some people think it's haunted, but OBVIOUSLY. Burned and slaughtered innocents. Half of Rosewood's Caucasian men were MOST likely pecking Fannie Taylor themselves but just needed a false reason to kill the Blacks. One of the characters in the movie said it best "A nigger with a piano in his house! I'm white and I don't even have a piano". There's a term called "Badmind" or "Red Eye", which basically means you never want to see someone have something good for themselves and you want to be the only one with it.
